Our Pastor

Pastor Emma White, affectionately known as “Ma Emma,” was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi. The seventh born of eight children, she grew up in a nurturing and loving home with devoted Christian parents. Even as a very young child, the calling and prophetic anointing of God was so strong on her life that she was often pulled in front of crowds and asked to and would give an accurate prophetic Word of Wisdom.

As she grew older, Pastor White excelled spiritually and academically and was known for her many gifts and talents, especially in the arts. Fluent in French, a prolific and gifted author and playwright, singer, actress, artistic designer, a woman of God with a warm smile and compassionate heart for people, Pastor White was often and still is a great light in various public forums. Pastor White has graced many great stages with her gifts and talents including being crowned Miss Jackson State University, the first Miss Black Mississippi, and performing in numerous Broadway plays and television mediums.

After overcoming incredible challenges in her personal life through prayer, faith in God and sheer determination, including having to raise four children as a single parent, Pastor White met and married the late Bishop Paul James White. Together, Pastor White and her husband founded Redeeming Love Outreach Ministries with just eight members.

For eight years, Pastor Emma White worked side by side with her husband not only to build the ministry but more importantly to bring the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. As the ministry approached its ninth year, full-fledged Pastorship was passed on to Pastor Emma White.

Pastor White is a gifted instrument of God’s grace and power. She has witnessed, first-hand, the almighty and miraculous power of God. She walks by faith, not by sight and is a witness that God’s Word “Will not return to Him void.” The scripture that testifies of her Christian walk is Proverbs 3:5-6 - “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all of thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy path.”

Whether the task involves pasturing, teaching, preaching, evangelizing, or prophetic ministry, Pastor Emma White is truly God’s chosen anointed vessel. She oversees the Drama Ministry and Ministerial Education of Redeeming Love Outreach Ministries. She maintains an active schedule as a full-time Teacher, Pastor, and a highly sought after Minister for conferences, retreats, workshops, seminars, and revivals to name a few.
